(aka “volunteers will be punished”)No good deed goes unpunished and no matter what you try to do to be helpful, noble or decent, life will surely throw more of its knives at you! How many good deeds have blown up in our collective faces? How many more explosive deeds must we self detonate before learning our classic proverbial lessons? This is the question that jades us forever! Can we be positively resilient in harboring a good soul? I happen to find my greatest strength lies in my vulnerabilities, but is that enough for hope? Maybe not, but it’s surely enough to want to live life without fear!
